Justin Novak, DVM

Dr. Justin Novak was born in Victoria and grew up in nearby Mission Valley. He graduated from Stroman High School in 1996. Dr. Justin attended Texas A&M where he graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Biomedical Science and Animal Science. He was accepted into the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated Magna Cum Laude receiving his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2005.

After graduation, Dr. Justin started his career at a mixed animal practice in Rusk, Texas where he worked for two years. He then moved to a mixed animal clinic in Taft, Texas where he practiced for the next eight years. In 2015, he decided to move closer to home and family and purchased Goliad Animal Clinic from Dr. Dan Gamblin. Dr. Justin’s special interest in the field of veterinary medicine is surgery and radiology. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association.

Happy to be part of the Goliad community, Dr. Justin lives in the Schroeder area with his wife Angie, who is also a veterinarian at Goliad Animal Clinic, and their two small children. They also have various four legged residents that call the Novak household home. When he has free time, Dr. Justin enjoys hiking, fishing, and being outdoors. He is an avid supporter of 4H, the Future Farmers of America (FFA), and Little League sports.
