Goliad Animal Clinic is a privately owned veterinary practice in south Texas that offers comprehensive dental, medical, and surgical care to both large and small animals. Our doctors and staff provide quality, dependable care delivered with genuine compassion and personal, hometown customer service. We practice general medicine that covers wellness visits and the diagnosis and treatment of sick animals in addition to large animal services, dental care, in-clinic diagnostics, surgical services, and more.
Our mission is simple; to serve our clients and patients with honesty and compassion. We are a small clinic with a big heart when it comes to caring for your pets. Our small but mighty team strives to provide the best care along with excellent customer service. We love the fact that our pet parents and many of our patients look forward to their visits with us.
At Goliad Animal Clinic, we also believe that every pet should have access to first-rate health care, and for this reason we keep our costs as economical as possible.
Whether you are a local resident, from a neighboring community, or just passing through our little town, we will do our best to fit you into our schedule as soon as possible so we can get to the bottom of your pet’s needs. We also offer farm visits for cattle, sheep, goats, and some horses by appointment only.
History/Facts
Goliad Animal Clinic is a family-owned practice located in the small town of Goliad, Texas. It was founded in 1975 by Dr. Dan Gamblin and his wife Deborah. From small beginnings in a garage to its present location on Highway 59, Dr. Gamblin served the Goliad community providing care for large and small animals for more than 40 years. Dr. Justin Novak purchased the practice in 2014 with the goal of continuing Dr. Dan’s service for the animals of Goliad and surrounding counties.
